Interclubs
Interclubs are held with other BJP Clubs and are designed to prepare ladies and girls for Champion Girl and Champion Lady Zone competitions later in the year. They are usually held in August each year and North Ryde usually attends 2 per year.
The Inter Club Competitions are a great opportunity for all club members to perform the syllabus for the first time. They are also a great opportunity to meet the girls and ladies from other Physie clubs and make new friends.
Teams
Team competitions are held in November at
the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre. North Ryde Physie Juniors, compete in Championship Grade.
A team consists of 8 girls or ladies that all wear
a black leotard. The focus of teamwork is performing the Syllabus in formation, in time and as one.
Preparing and competing in team competitions is
one of the best parts of being involved in Physie as you get to do it with the friends you had made all year.
Champion Girl & Champion Lady
Champion Girl and Champion Lady competitions generally start in September each year. These competitions consist of heats, semi-finals, and finals. If the girls and ladies are selected at this level, they then go on to compete at National Finals.
The Junior National Finals (6-14 years) and a number of Ladies National Finals are held in November at the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre. The Sydney Opera House hosts the Senior Girls and Ladies National Finals in December each year.
Club Championships
At the end of each year we conduct our own Club Championship Competition. This is an opportunity for all of us to showcase a year of hard work and fun and to watch each other. It is a fun day to share with family and special Physie friends.
